About Us

THEATRE ON THE VERGE

"All the World's a Stage"

Thank you for your interest in supporting Theatre on the Verge, a theatre company based in the Greater-Philadelphia area

Like our lives, good theatre hovers in the No-Man's-Land between success and disaster: the Verge. We may know that Hamlet will never be king, but he does not. We know that Dorothy will return home, but she doesn't. Without knowing the ending, we--and the characters--have the opportunity to live gracefully now.

Theatre on the Verge aims to create professional theatre for our community, focusing on stories of friendship, sacrificial love, and perseverance. We aim to partner with organizations in our community tackling problems of homelessness, poverty, and modern day slavery. We know we won't perfectly fulfill our vision, but we hope to steward the opportunities given to us with humility.
